Effinity Charitable Foundation is proud to support Brighton Table Tennis Club (BTTC) through our donation of £10,000 in match-funding to help the club reach their goals.
BTTC is a community table tennis club with a focus on social value in Brighton and Hove, running sessions for over 1,500 people each week. They aim to transform lives by providing positive role models, increasing engagement with education and community, and improving health and well-being.
Their impact is clear in stories like Myla’s. Living with cerebral palsy, her family said she once didn’t like to leave the house. Since joining BTTC, Myla’s confidence has grown, and she now looks forward to playing and connecting with friends each week. Find out more about Myla’s story below.
In January 2025, BTTC opened a new location in Moulsecoomb, marking an exciting new chapter. With the help of crowdfunding, they plan to launch a dedicated para hub for players with physical and learning disabilities, host monthly community meals, and run a variety of inclusive sessions, free or at concessionary rates, to ensure that cost isn’t a barrier.
